Later this week, GeoGebra 4 Beta will change into GeoGebra 4 Release Candidate including lots of new features like uploading worksheets to our new material sharing platform GeoGebraTube. Please note that the CAS view will be moved to the new GeoGebra 4.2 Beta version at the same time. GeoGebra 4 will be officially released in a couple of weeks including all the goodies like offline installers and portable versions.

In GeoGebra 4.2 Beta we will continue to add new features and improve the CAS view to get it ready for prime time later this autumn. Over the summer, we have made lots of important changes and improvements in the background to ensure GeoGebra’s computer algebra view is ready for the future including our online worksheets and upcoming mobile versions.

Das was ich da leider rauslesen muss, ist, dass das CAS-Fenster nicht mit der Version 4.0 kommen wird und doch noch einige Probleme bereitet.
Aber dafür funktioniert GeoGebraTube wirklich gut und ich habe schon ein paar Dinge dort “geparkt”. Auch die Statistik-Funktionen von GeoGebra sind wirklich ausgereift und bieten tolle Werkzeuge an. Die Tabellenansicht hat sich auf natürlicher Art und Weise verändert, besonders gefällt mir eine Eingabezeile, so wie sie Excel besitzt.
