WOW! This week I got an email from representatives of Microsoft in Education that really thrilled me:
… Because of your commitment to Microsoft and educational transformation, I would like to invite you to be part of this pilot Advisory Board. You are considered a leader in your school, community and peers across the world and we value your comments and opinions. Your input will be critical in shaping products, tools and resources. …
These individuals will be the “go to” partners across the world who will collaborate together to provide market understanding of integral use of ICT in teaching and learning, as well as input and feedback on Microsoft education programs, products, tools and resources. They want me to be part of a very exclusive Advisory Board for the Microsoft in Education Worldwide and what else can I say that this is really, really the biggest honor to me! The Board consists of several school leaders, expert educators and product groups of Microsoft to drive the education forward to the next level! I hope that I can fit in to the expectations, and I am overwhelmed that I get this chance to work together with the #msftedu-Team!
Looking back on the way how I started with Microsoft at the 2012 Microsoft Austria Innovation&Education Forum I can’t believe that my way has brought my to this point, again I have to say „Thank You“ to all persons who made this possible and I am determined to give my best to fulfill others and my expectations!

The Countdown is running and in three weeks I will get on the plane to Seattle to join the world’s greatest gathering of Microsoft Innovative Educators in Redmond at the Edcuator Exchange (E²) at the Microsoft Campus. I am lucky and two other Austrian Expert Educators join me earlier on Friday, so we can get to Seattle a bit earlier and do some sightseeing there.
Microsoft has given me another great opportunity: I was invited to present another Microsoft Quick Tip video for the official Microsoft in education channel. On Tuesday 28th me and other mieexperts are going to the LEX-Studios to to a professional video-shooting. Here are the newest videos of this series:
As I’ve seen on the registration page there is a great schedule for the E² and I hope I can meet many, many of my fellow educators from all around the world and exchange our ideas. The preperations are in full swing and I will surely keep you updated here on my blog about what I have planned for this year’s Global Forum!
